What is Christianity?

Before I tell you what Christianity is, let me highlight what it is not…

Christianity is NOT a religion.

Christianity is NOT a book-religion.

Christianity is NOT a belief system.

Christianity is NOT morality.

Christianity is NOT ethics.

Christianity is NOT problem solving.

Christianity is NOT role playing.

Christianity is NOT church things.

Christianity is NOT an ‘ism’

Christianity is NOT a philosophy.

Christianity is NOT an ideology.

So what exactly is Christianity?

CHRISTIANITY IS CHRIST.

Christianity is Christ plus or minus nothing!

Christ alone. Christ in us. Christ living in human. Christ expressing Himself through humans. The fullness of Christ in mortal bodies.

You become a Christian by receiving Christ into your core being and into your spirit. Then, by Faith you allow Christ expresses His character, lifestyle and goodness through your human body.

Therefore the presence of Christ in you changes your spiritual identity as sanctified, righteous, holy, and justified.

Remember it is Christ in you that has these attributes not necessarily you. It's never by your human effort but by the Spirit of God that lives on your inside.

As a Christian, you're to re-present Christ to the world again and again. Your expression of life is that of Jesus Christ. Your ambition is Christ’s ambition. Your interest is Christ's interest. Your choice is Christ's. Your will is Christ's. The totality of your life is Christ's.

A Christian is not trying to obey some moral code of conduct. No. No. A Christian is only submitting his body and mind to the spirit of Christ to live through.

A Christian is a container for the content which is Christ. As a Christian, you've been set free from the bondage of sin. Your natural tendencies has been nailed to the cross. Now you're now free to live according to how God intended for you right from creation. God intended to live out himself through mortal human vessels.

Remember, Christ in you, the hope of glory. And He who lives in you, is greater than he who is in the world.

As a Christian, you're not of this world but you're a pure citizen of heaven living in a foreign country called earth.

This is your destiny as a Christian.

Now ask yourself: Are you truly a Christian or you're just a church attendee?
