I Am Righteous

I Am Righteous
I breathe in grace.
I exhale shame.
Because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Not striving.
Not struggling to qualify.
Not trying to earn what was already given.
I am righteous.
On the days I feel strong.
On the days I feel small.
On the days I question myself.
Still righteous.
Because my identity is not built on performance
it is built on the finished work of Jesus Christ.
He became what I was
so I could become what He is.
Accepted.
Loved.
Secure.
I don’t wake up trying to impress God.
I wake up already embraced.
When I pray, I come boldly.
When I worship, I come freely.
When I fall, I rise confidently.
There is no condemnation here.
No hidden rejection.
No silent disappointment from Heaven.
Only grace.
Only love.
Only righteousness.
So today, I stand tall not in pride,
but in identity.
I am not who guilt says I am.
I am not who fear says I am.
I am who God says I am.
And He calls me righteous.
