The Bible in John 14:27 tells us that the peace God gives unto us is not as that which the world gives but in that same light there is a strange concept called "Godly Sorrow".

The Biblical statement "weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning" connotes to us a pivotal message that our times of sorrow should make us ruminate on the present not worry about it because the time of sorrow is a time to dwell in the secret place not dwell on the present state of our predicaments.

Philippians 4:7 makes us understand that there's a peace which passeth understanding but that peace is unlocked by Godly sorrow; so what then is Godly Sorrow?

Well our answer can be found in 2 Cor 7:10 which reiterates that Godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation. Godly sorrow has an end result called “Transformation" while the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Godly sorrow wroughts carefulness, paying attention to the lips of wisdom which aids transformation on the inside and outside.

Godly sorrow is the true definition of "weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning".

We're told to be joyful in tribulation because it worketh perseverance, for perseverance is needed for Transformation.

Apostle Paul in Romans 8:18 assured us that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Stand strong through the times of sorrow for your help is not just in your tomorrow or the future but he’s presently present and your victory is certain in the one who already won the victory.
