Discernment in Every Season

Mark 8:33
"But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.â€"
Jesus rebuked Peter publicly, because he couldn’t discern that he was being used by the enemy as he subjected himself for a minute and Jesus used it as a teachable moment, so they will understand the time and the season they were in, in that moment, it’s extremely important that we understand the use of our vessel at different point in time (2 Timothy 2:21), a vessel yielded to God will be used by God and the moment we allow the same vessel to be yielded to fleshly things, it also will be used in that direction as well.
So constantly we find out that a battle is ongoing with our flesh and our spirit and we must learn to yield our spirit to the office of the HolySpirit, the HolySpirit doesn’t struggle with anyone, and would wait for us to yield, He will communicate to us what God’s mind is per time (John 16:13) and we have the opportunity to yield to Him and He will teach us all things, those things are critical to our existence and survival if we stay there.
