At the end of the sermon, we will focus our prayers on two areas;
1. Power
2. Greatness
Matthew 11:16-17 KJV
“But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.”
Acts 19:32 KJV
“Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.”
◦ A generation that children are seated in one place, they play songs for them but they refuse to dance. They mourn, they refuse to mourn. They’re Insensitive and Spiritualy blind.
Facts about this Ancient Spiritual Art
1. There is an ancient spiritual art that is dying now.
2. It is now with old men and women which is contrary to the Bible (Joel2:28)
3. It converts a man to an extra-ordinary man.
4. It introduces men into the spiritual realm.
5. It is scarce but very needed in this time.
6. It will make you know what is going on in the spiritual realm.
7. It will make you a terror or fearful person to the kingdom of darkness.
8. It can catapult your ministry to the next level.
9. It allows you commune with angels and spiritual beings.
10. It will make God use you in an unusual way.
The key to power is with the Holy Ghost (Acts1:8)
◦ The divine order is Dreams to the old and vision to the young (Joel2:28) but the reverse is now the case
◦ The reason many young people cannot go far is because they cannot see.
This art of Heaven is the OPEN EYES.
The greatest danger that can happen to a man is to be running another man’s race or writing an exam nobody asked you to write.
The tragedy of this present generation.
◦ The current generation of youth is the generation with the brain upside down.
◦ The enemy is killing them and they’re hailing the enemy.
◦ They refused to hear the whistle of the hunter.
◦ They’re praising the person who bewitched them.
What is a zombie?
There is a rage of zombie spirit now.
◦ They’re dead and answerable to who is controlling them.
◦ They operate like robots/human but cannot talk.
If you don’t pray to have your eyes open, you will become a spiritual zombie.
Marks of Spiritual Zombie
1. They squander Spiritual opportunities
The best gift God has for us will sometime come as an opportunity.
2. They’re addicted to bad company (1cor15:33). Check the company/association you keep.
3. Indifferent to the state of their minds.(Prov4:23; 23:7)
You have the power to be an immigration officer to the door of your heart.
Check the state of your life and rebrand it with the word of God.
4. They're not motivated by love. It is just I and myself.
5. Lack of motivation to go beyond their present level. Contented with their present levels.
*You should aim to beat the best and be the best.
6. Never contented.
7. Ignorant of the kind of life God wants them to live.
8. Suffers from constant spiritual sicknesses- inability to pray, study God’s words, fast etc.
9. Clumpsy and erratic. They don't do deep thinking.
10. Unable to discern between the truth or error. (Eph4:14)
11. They like biblical wisdom and understanding instead of studying the Bible themselves.
12. Ignorance of spiritual deception and manipulation.
13. Inability to test spirits and teachings.
14. When your life is being controlled by a prophet.
15. Unable to think critically and take sound decisions.
16. Weak and superficial prayer life. You cant get far in the spirit realm with this.
17. Inconsistent quiet time.
18. Failure to apply biblical principles to your daily life.
19. Lack of transparency and accountability.
20. Inability to receive constructive criticism and feedback.
21. Failure to overcome simple habits.
22. Involvement in occultic practices
23. Failure to submit to God's purpose for your life.
24. Unable to receive discipline and corrections.
25. Arrogance
26. Spiritually blind and deaf
7 Keys
1. Be a friend of God.
2. Be a Bible addict - make it a daily affair. Memorize, study and meditate.
3. Be a prayer addict
4. Be filled with the Holy Ghost
5. Observe regular retreats.
6. Pray for the miracle of open eyes
7. Seek for power from on High.
